Classes are ongoing
- What to expect in a yoga class at Akke's Yoga Place
- You learn how to bring your attention inward
through focusing awareness on the breath, sound vibrations and eye
movements.
- You practice yoga poses that enable greater freedom of movement in your
joints and strengthen your muscles.
- You will be guided through a deep relaxation, learning how to physically relax
and mentally unwind.
- You will receive instructions in breathing techniques and meditation for
greater mental concentration.
Yoga classes are offered at Gentle, Beginner, Continuing and Intermediate Levels or Prenatal Yoga. What to bring to a Yoga Class
- Loose comfortable clothes.
- Mats and blankets and pillows are available at the studio for your convenience, if you have a mat you might want to bring your own.
- Please try not to eat for an hour or two before coming to class.
- If you use perfumed products, please wait until after class to put these on, some partici pants are allergic.
